Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi there,

I'm working in a win32 environment, on perl 5.8.
does anybody know of a ppm compiled perl module that will allow me to access/work with cvs repostiories?
would it be easier to just make system calls to wincvs.exe??

Thanks a lot,
Anonymous Monk.

VCS.pm works with a number of source code control systems.

maybe Cvs? Never used this module myself. Searching on cpan there seems to be a lot. I just use subversion myself. Good luck.
