Try cperl-mode for EMACS.
It has a very nice formatter (completely customizable), and allows the same kind of 'goto line with error' functionality among a lot of others...

cperl-mode is a major mode for emacs, which is indeed available for windows (and every other platform you can imagine)... take at look here for information on the windows NT port. --Glenn	[reply]
