html + Perl

Nalina has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I've installed Apache 2.0.54 with mod_perl on windows. However, I can't get HTML::Mason to work. It says:

[Mon Jul 18 16:13:01 2005] [error] Can't load Perl module HTML::Mason:
+:ApacheHandler for server nalina.inknowtek.com:80, exiting...
[download]

please help me.

I'm not a Windows expert, but from the sound of that error perhaps the Mason libraries got installed in a directory other than where mod_perl is looking for them. Are you using all standard install paths, or did you custom install some things in other directories?	[reply]

Try `perl -MSillyMadeUpModule -e 1` [download] The error you get will look like `Can't locate SillyMadeUpModule.pm in @INC (@INC contains: ...` [download] Apache probably does not have permission	[reply] [d/l] [select]
