    Hi,

You could start by reading TK Tutorial by hiseldl, from the Tutorial section of this site.
TK modules can be downloaded from cpan.

    Hope this helps.

Since you know Perl already, it will be easy for you. If you do "perldoc Tk" you will get a list of docs. "perldoc Tk::UserGuide" is a pretty good start. Then when you want example code for something, go to http://groups.google.com and search for it, like: "Tk text " or "Tk progressbar" etc.

As you have perl/Tk installed, type "widget" to the command prompt. This has a fairly comprehensive set of widget demos, complete with a "see code" button.

There was a Tk wiki I contributed towards, but this seems to have been blasted by spammers :(. I tried to contact batkins with a view to restoring from backup, but to no avail.

BTW: Tk is already included into Activestate-Perl which you might use for Windows.

Most Linux distributions I know let you install Tk by operating system means, e.g. rpm or apt. If you compiled your own perl, you will probably have to install Tk from CPAN.
