Regarding the netscape bookmarks: the bookmarks file is really just an HTML file (search for bookmarks.html in your mozilla/netscape settings directory), so if Netscape::Bookmarks::Category doesn't work for you, it shouldn't be too hard to parse with HTML::Treebuilder or similar modules.
