First off, this is not a site where people will educate you with a baby spoon. If you ask a huge question in a way that shows that you don't have a clue AND you haven't looked very hard, expect to get laughed at. Please understand that we're all here in spite of being very busy and we expect you to respect our time constraints. You must be willing to follow the links given and do your own homework. As has been stated, OOPS is an acronym for Object Oriented Programming Style|Systems, and it is a powerful technique used in many languages including Perl. There are many examples of OOP here and on CPAN, and a quick Google search will give you links to books and articles specifically on OOP and Perl:

My Linux kernel gives me an "Oops" when I'm not there watching it, are you running an unstable version?
