I was working with a dynamic/FOSS language/tools shop (won't say which) that is currently being moved to J2EE or .NET or some other heck for business reasons. I would give my left kidney (but not the right one) to be able to use Rails, Django, or mod_perl (anything) instead. Productivity is king... but we live in a world run by business people who don't believe it that! Find side projects I guess and keep your sanity.
