Now this has nothing to do with Perl, but I though I would share this with you. We are trying to debug a problem with our DHCP server, which has the annoying habit of crashing. My Unix admin asked if there were any error messages on the console. I told him "The DHCP server is Ernest Hemingway software - it dies alone and unnoticed."

For someone that had to read several of Hemingway's books while at school - I thought that description was appropriate.

    Unfortunately, there is no Upside to Ernest Hemingway Software. His books, IMHO, are made better by his terse writing style for the reason that the reader is able to Connect The Dots in whatever way suits them best.

    SW, OTOH, needs apropos spoutings to be properly informative...unless you like to invent problems with your SW.
