I suggest using Unicos, on the grounds that current perls don't build on it and having it fixed would be kinda nice. You can get accounts here.

    Well for that matter they don't build on AmigaOS anymore either - maybe the OP could try AROS, trying to build an Amiga Perl on UAE proved too painful for me.
