Append text at last of Excel File

udyog has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello Monks,

I have an excel file which contains some text. I need to append some text at the last of excel file.

Please help in this regard.

You can use Spreadsheet::ParseExcel::Simple to read the data into your program and then use Spreadsheet::WriteExcel::Simple to add your new data and write out the new spreadsheet. -- gam3 A picture is worth a thousand words, but takes 200K.	[reply]

If you are on windows, using Win32::OLE to control excel is an option as well. (See Using Win32::OLE and Excel - Tips and Tricks from the Tutorials) The Q&A node Index of Spreadsheet FAQs has a lot of useful information as well..	[reply]
