in reply to Perl forum ambassadors?
Go forth and spread the wisdom! In specific, use some means to find a new perl forum and spend time helping the people there learn the Right Way to code perl. Advocate strict and warnings. Advocate sane coding practices. Do what you can to improve their knowledge, and there by improve Perl's reputation.I'm already doing about as much as I can there. I hunted down the eight or nine mailing lists at Yahoo!Groups that had Perl in their name, and subscribed to them all. You think some of the answers here are a bit dodgy... you should see the mess the so called "experts" there create.
