I changed it to $response =~ s/\n\|\r//g; and now it works, thanks merlyn	[reply]

You ought to change it to: `$response =~ tr/\n\r//d;` [download] tr/// is for translating/stripping characters. Save s/// for real regexes :-)	[reply] [d/l]
