    I like it in the unforseeable future...... you know it's there, but you don't have to worry about it yet. :-) Sort of a peaceful, easy feeling.

        Yes ! That is about the way I feel about Perl6. If you substutute Perl6 for 'woman' in the lyrics, and Perl5 for 'standing on the ground'. ;-)

      Kinda. Sometimes, I can "predict" the future. If I've been in a scenario dozens of times, and from where I am right now the same sequence of events has transpired every time that I've been here before, I can make the deduction that the same thing will probably happen this time. Or, to apply this to Perl 6, if they had a targeted release date of anything, then I'd have no reason to doubt it. However, AFAIK, there is no such release date; right now, it's just kind of "it'll be done when it's done". Not that there's anything wrong with that. <whine>It's just that I want it now!<</whine>

    Don't you see? The genius of Perl 6 is that Perl 6 is the future now, and will always be the future! Permanent destiny!
