Dear Monks,

We often encounter some nodes that are important, and we wish to keep them at hand, we don't want to miss them. Currently what I do to keep them is simply to store them in my home node manually as link.

I was thinking was there ever be considered by pmdevs or god let us have a "bookmark" utility to keep those nodes in our home node.

JJ.Allen in his perldoc.perl.org has this kind of function. On the very right side of the website we can find "Label: Add this page". We can also remove them if we like.

Regards,
Edward

This has sure been coming up a lot lately. Turn on your "Personal Nodelet" and have fun! It allows you to add node bookmarks to the nodelet that occupies the right-hand side of your screen (assuming unaltered CSS), and also allows you to quickly and easily add such bookmarks to your public scratchpad or your private scratchpad. This has been around quite awhile now.

Turn on your Personal Nodelet in Nodelet Settings. Then you can add a link for any node you are visiting using Add here in your Personal Nodelet.

I appologise to those of you who have read something very like this before :)

Perl is Huffman encoded by design.
      Thanks so much Grandfather.

I also apologise for having asked question that has been asked before ... really.

      Regards,
      Edward
It might be cool to come up with a special tag for homenodes that autoexpands into the PN list for those that wish to publicize it.
