CPAN Module not showing up

cnd has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi All,

Why is my module "Device-LabJack 0.01" not showing up in my CPAN Directory, and not being "findable" using search.cpan.org ?

It *is* there, it's just not showing up for anyone to find. You can see some things about it, like the test results here:-

... so what's wrong?

FYI - I have tried re-uploading it, I've checked that it's almost identically formatted to my other modules that *are* listed, and I've asked the CPAN people several times (no reply) so this Q is my last resort :-)

According to the CDRAKE directory on CPAN, it would seem it's been up since May. It's just not in the CDRAKE listing on search.cpan.org. (I took very a quick look at the tarball and didn't see any glaring issues so I don't know why that would happen.) For CDRAKE -- if you increment the version number and resubmit to PAUSE, what kind of messages do you get? -xdg Code written by xdg and posted on PerlMonks is public domain. Then that's a long time. ;-) The package looks good, and annocpan.org opened it without much trouble (http://annocpan.org/~CDRAKE/Device-LabJack-0.01/lib/Device/LabJack.pm). If releasing version 0.02 does not work, I'd suggest filing a report at http://search.cpan.org/feedback. Added note: The package name used in the code (Device::LabJack) doesn't seem to agree with the one used in the documentation (LJPerl). I don't know if that has something to do with the OP's problem...	[reply]
