renodino has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Seeking any experiences of 64 bit Perl built/running on Win2K3 EM64. I saw this node (Building 64bit Perl for Windows), but it seems to refer only to AMD64. I'll be using dual 64 bit Xeons, and I'd like some comfort level before taking the plunge with a full 64 bits (esp. since I have to build my own). There seems to be a dearth of 'net references to 64 bit Windows perl users (searches here and at Google didn't surface much).

Any warnings/hints/tips/tricks much appreciated...

    Note that the Intel EM64T chip is equivalent to AMD64 - so the referred to node should be perfectly applicable to your situation.
