I'm for it. It would be cool if I could write [me] in a message or post and it would be displayed as a shortcut to myself. (E.g., in this post, [me] would be rendered just as [jdporter] would.)

Interestingly, there is already one node (from 3 years ago) that contains a [me] link. And it would then function exactly as the author imagined it would! (Currently it doesn't; he was mistaken).

Actually, I would think that `[me]` would render exactly the same as `[Tanktalus\|me]`. Helps maintain the grammatical correctness that most people would be using in that situation. Including the node you linked to.	[reply] [d/l] [select]
