Would it be preferable to render < ins> blocks in perhaps a different font colour/size or bg colour as default, to make it more obvious to those with uncustomised CSS that it's an update?
Update: As ambrus has pointed out, it's easy to do with CSS. That was the point really - it's almost certainly a trivial change to implement, but might make it clearer to those who haven't customised their CSS. The node in question was considered (I don't know who by) because it appeared to have an unclosed < ul> tag in it. In fact Aristotle was making smart use of the < ins> tag to denote an update that was fairly complex, and included a large amount of interpolation to his original post.
