Cannot export cmpthese or countit from Benchmark

coreolyn has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Everything except cmpthese and countit export fine, but this is what I get otherwise:

$ ./bench
"cmpthese" is not exported by the Benchmark module at ./bench line 2
Can't continue after import errors at ./bench line 2
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ./bench line 2.
$ cat bench
#! /usr/bin/perl 
use Benchmark qw(timethese timeit timestr cmpthese);
[download]

This is a source install of 5.6.0 and haven't had any other problems with it.

Any ideas?

Oh hell, my fricken bust again. I was running a different perl in the script than I had in my path. Man I'm getting worn from blundering. coreolyn	[reply]
