Damian Conway, who was given a grant by Yet Another Society to work on Perl for the year, has started his quest, and made a web site to track his progress. He's also got an RSS feed up of his latest news (which is available on use Perl).

Conway reports that YAS has been granted 501(3)(c) status as a non-profit, so contributors may be able to take a tax deduction on the contributions.
