in reply to Is 'Newest Nodes' broken?

Your variable for your last checked time is a long time ago. If you go to your user settings and click the "Clear my newest nodes flag" button at the bottom it should solve the problem.

Considering how often this comes up would it be a good idea to have a check and have a maximum number of days that you present with Newest Nodes?

In a similar vein I would find it very convenient if there was a way to have Newest Nodes accept a time range (or post range). During the day if I have a few minutes to read and I am a bit behind it is impossible to catch up on everything and mark all read. So it accumulates to the end of the day. But if I could take on an hour here, an hour there then catching up on PM in pieces would be more feasible.

(It would also help people who want to catch up on what happened over a break.)

If you clear your last checked flag, it will instead give you a # of days. The default is 1, and every time you go back it gets reset to 1, but I've found it rather useful.
