But as you may have noticed, we're trying really hard to design a language where we can compensate for our own stupidities as we figure them out over the long term.

The only reponse I have is that my fears do not translate into anyones "stupidities"--'cepting maybe my own.

My expressing my fears in public is as much about getting guys like you and stvn to help quell them, as it is about bringing them to anyone elses attention.

I am unsure whether to read this response as an attempt by you to quell my fears, or ...?
