Well, I'm an expectant father, for the third time (for a picture of my two sons, SamCG). We've been hoping for a girl -- really hoping, and this will almost certainly be the last child, so we've done all the silly things parents who are hoping for a particular gender will do. (I still tell my wife we should have just gone with the centrifuge). Anyway, this is far more upbeat than my first attempt at perletry.

I'll know for sure in two weeks, when the amnio results come back (damn, why isn't there a Perl function called "amnio"?). Until then, I continue dissecting the ultrasounds. . .

update: Yes. . . it's a healthy, lively boy. My wife blames me. . .

    It *is* your fault... as I understand it its the male that transmits maleness. :P
      Yeah, my wife subscribes to that crazy gene theory of gender too. . . ;)
