Might be a good idea to allow the Original Poster of a question
to enter evaluations of the answer that they got... did the message
answer their question, etc. For non-Anonymous OPs, of course. Viewing
the evaluations should be optional.
The upcoming moderation ought to go a long way towards
rewarding good answers, since I think everyone with a
login can vote. However, I don't know that mass moderation
would help in this particular case. I think that the most
popular answers are only somewhat likely to be the most
helpful. (Witness /. where anything funny gets moderated up)
Since this IS a resource site for newbies and
experts alike, perhaps there should be a modification
so that moderation by the question poster (on answers
to their questions) counts for more than moderation by
randomly browsing monks.
