    Errrr...sorry if my question made me look like an IP novice, but i do manage a couple of rather big networks, and i know how to do this, but i was in doubt whether this was the Right Way To Do it (tm).

    But what i disliked most about your reply was the mentioning of the CCNA, because i don't have one, yet help other people pass those tests, and i firmly believe that (at least the basic) CCNA certifications are the most over-hyped BS there is, and a pure money-making scheme for Cisco. they get tought to install 1000$ cisco managed switches for 8-workstation classroom LANs, FFS!
