This writeup is much more of a confession I am making to all the monks in the monastery. When I first learned programming on a computer it was with old BASIC. The I switched to the more up-to-date Visual Basic. so each time I had to make a simple program that has anything to do with handling strings of text, searching and replacing, I referred to VB...( a very hard and complicated case it was, considering that I learned VB all by myself.. ).
Anyway, I first started using perl when I downloaded a free guestbook script. then I hacked the code, and created a contact form using the guestbook code, and started messing around and creating some stuff with perl. now, when I read about RegEx I was like... "Wow! it can do that???????!!!!" so I quickly searched for a software to run perl code localy and downloaded some tutorials, so that now I write my own code, without refering to any other code.. and now I use perl for everything, even my friends at the IT departement call me Perl Freak now..
What's this supposed to meen?? I'm now truely becoming a Perl User
I Bow In Front Of Perl Glory
