Well I like this idea!
But your concerns are valid. So the section will be very clear as to what the real goals are. The section will have an explanition just like Snippets or Code; Being very clear that the answers are hints! If the student can't understand and wants to give up, let them do pennence before getting the answer (submit the work they have done work on the problem so far). My favorite post is a snippet for a password generator. I learned so much just from other monks taking the code and improving on it. That's what this site is. This node could be a lot of fun!
