During the midst of this morning's CB flurry, I started getting the following message:

You have -x more messages. You can check them in your message inbox.

where x is an integer that gets decremented each time I check a private message.

Worse; it's not going away. Logging out and back in doesn't seem to affect it, not does restarting the browser.

Anyone know what's going on? --f
