    This is Perl... of COURSE there's a module to do it! ;-)

    It's called Modem::Vgetty. I've only just purchased a voicemodem (since I'm on cable) for trying some telephony tricks with this module, so I can't tell you much about the quality yet... from the documentation, though, it looks pretty complete.

    Note also Modem::VBox, which seems to be an attempt at a prettier Modem::Vgetty. The documentation is somewhat less than complete, however. :-)

    Well, first of all type in 'modem serial' in the box on the
    top left of this page... then press enter... people have asked
    about this before, you know

    Or... go to http://www.google.com (your friendly neighbourhood search engine)
    And type in 'perl modem'

    Or search CPAN for 'serial'...

    And you will especially LOVE the results from typing in 'perl + modem' in the serach box on the top left of this page ;))

    GreetZ!,

    print "profeth still\n" if /bird|devil/;
