However, I was thinking more along the lines of a solution yielding all possible answers in a short amount of time.

If you follow the thread, it gives several interations of a non-regex solution that is really quite fast. Examine what is said, not who speaks -- Silence betokens consent -- Love the truth but pardon error. Lingua non convalesco, consenesco et abolesco. -- Rule 1 has a caveat! -- Who broke the cabal?
