Is there a way to script sending a message via MSM

slloyd has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I am trying to figure out a way to script sending an instant message to a set of people in Microsoft Messenger. Any suggestions? Send the message and get off.. Is is possible? How about Google Talk?

slloyd, Regards the Google Talk part did you read the Google Talk developer notes ? Check out the cpan for xmpp modules. Update: I just google'd and found a tutorial titled GoogleTalk with Perl, which may be of interest to you. Hope this helps. Martin	[reply]
