The non-profit 3rd German Perl Workshop (Feb 28 - March 2, 2001), Sankt Augustin, Germany, informs that a first timetable with abstracts is available, and that online early bird registration is now open. Registration fee is 40 DM until Jan 31, 2001, and 50 DM thereafter, plus the (highly recommended) optional evening reception 20 DM.

Although this is still a rather national event, the number of presentations in English language has increased significantly, not the least through co-operation with YAS/YAPC::Europe. So check the programme to see if it's worth your trip.

e.g. two parallel tutorials in English language are offered free of additional charge for registered participants on the morning of Wed 2001-02-28, starting 9 am: Damian Conway: Advanced Perl-Parsing, Johan Vromans: Object-Oriented Perl, and there will be invited talks by Damian Conway, Jan DuBois, Brian Ingerson, and Jon Orwant.
