I've finished 9 so far, including a 15 point problem. A few hints for effective Perl usage:
- bignum is your friend.
- Not every problem is a math problem. (For example, I solved one problem with Date::Calc.)
- Use iterative algorithms - recursion will blow your stack.
My criteria for good software:
- Does it work?
- Can someone else come in, make a change, and be reasonably certain no bugs were introduced?
