XS help needed

vikee has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello monks,

I need to call C functions from a library, I have the sources.
I tryed XS, SWIG, DynaLib, Dynaloader, but I'm lost, it's so
much information there and always somthing wrong.

I need to call functions from this library: libwklin-3.03.tar.gz

Can anybody help me how to start and manage it? pleeeese
