I like the idea, but I think I'd prefer something along the lines of the All-Time Best 10, or the Best 100. That would replace the arbitrary XP number with an arbitrary group size.

Part of the problem is that if the number of nodes is too large, it will defeat the purpose of helping people find a particular node quickly. So, as [id://dbwiz] points out, there are 2500 nodes with XP higher than 83, which (IMNSHO) is just too many to search through.

I don't actually mind having to search hard for things. As I blunder along, I'm always running into other things that are interesting, amusing, or even useful. Kind of like learning 10 new words for every one you look up in the dictionary.
