in thread OT: Valentine's Day

I remember a fellow "monkess" having started a list of "XY-less" monks in her home node. However I can't remember who she were. I asked her why she was building her list around a negation rather than on an assertion, i.e. "XX", and gave suggestions about users who I knew to be females, or supposed so. Whatever, after a few days, she changed her mind and deleted the list saying that probably that wasn't a nice idea at all.

Let's face it: the nerd concentration in this place is extremely high - and I'm not an exception! ;-) I cannot say for sure, but I can imagine girls here occasionally receiving approaches, although I doubt their inboxes being flooded as it would happen in other environments.

As for the photos, do you know about http://tinymicros.com/pm/index.php?goto=Photos? If any of them has put a picture of her computer in her home node...

I know of at least one fantastic Perl hacker, and a monk here, who recently turned a girl.

    Into what? :-)

Sorry, English is not my mother tongue. I thought, and was fairly confident, that you could also say so to mean "became a girl".
