A student went to his master one day and said, "Your old camel is ugly. His lips are large and his neck ungainly. His fur is thick and his hide is leathery. His knees splay, his toes are soft and there is webbing in between. His hump is large and uncomfortable. My horse is sleek and strong and fast."

The master replied, "In a sandstorm, the camel can block his tender nose with his lips. His long neck curves and his head takes shelter behind his thick, leathery fur when he kneels in the desert. His toes spread and keep him on top of the soft desert sand, allowing him to run where your horse would sink. His hump allows him to go for days without water."

Then the master hit the student in the head with the Stick of Applied Learning and Metaphor.
