As a newbie, I'm more likely to contact a newbie to ask my question rather than a perl master (not always a good idea, but at least I'm sure I won't disturb too much...)

In the same vain I'd like to contact perlmonks in my area...

Is there a way to search PerlMonks by location or by level or by entrance date ?

If this way exists please accept my apologizes (I swear I've searched though...) just point me to the right place...

And I'd like to take this opportunity to thanks/greets all the people behind the scene (No! Not a karma whore... ;-) I hope that oneday I'll be able to contribute the way you do...

Sure, you can see the Monk Map at Perl Monk Stats and see the help section there or (jcwren): Monks' Maps! for info about how to get on the map.

The help section of Monk Stats also gives instructions for other things you can search for - including birthdays, email address, preferred Operating System, etc. Happy Hunting!
