I'm not so sure. The problem only appeared when I was logged in (both browsers), so it's not a browser/firewall/ad-blocker issue. I shut down all my custom CSS, just in case (based on some extraneous "^M" characters in the source) and that didn't fix it either. Finally, clearing my newest nodes flag fixed it.
