What is that supposed to mean? What about those of us who, although we don't have the time at the moment to help, and haven't joined all the mailing lists to keep bleeding edge current, do enjoy hearing news about what's going on with the project through the usual sources of perl information?

If it bothers you, just ignore it. Like OJ, Scott Peterson, or whatever else you may not care to hear about. (Do you write to the news stations and say "Please stop reporting about the latest news, it's bothering me?).
