in reply to Why can I vote several times on Polls ?

Because you can!

Vote early, vote often!

Honestly, it's because no-one takes these things all that seriously, and it would take far too much effort to get it right (for some definition of right) for anyone to spend the time to do so. And even then there would always be ways to sneak past and vote more than once. Life is too short to worry about things like that.

What I really miss the most is the ability to vote on non-existant choices. That was much more fun.

You still can. Just use the hanging chad option on the Free Nodelet. Of course, it will take an act of Congress and 17 Diebold voting machines to tell you that your navel is on backwards. (What did you expect, a confirmation of your vote?)

No, no, it will confirm that you voted for Dudley Doright, but count your vote towards Snidely Whiplash, who is a political friend of the CEO of the company who makes the voting machines.

OK, just wondering, I'll vote heartily as many times as I can :)
