ya its a by line parse with a for each does readline do the trick? File Size:411.07KB (420938 bytes) I updated the code	[reply]

400K is small unless you are running CP/M. If things are being truncated it's not because the file is too big. DWIM is Perl's answer to Gödel	[reply]
