deepak_biswas19 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Dear monks, Please help me out, is there any storage place in apache where i can maintain the data and perform operation on that stored data such as Delete, update and insert. I want to maintain the session details in that particular place. I am using perl 5.8 as PL and Apache 2.0 as server and os->linux. Please suggest me.

    deepak_biswas19,

Based on your question I am not exactly sure what your looking to do. Have you had a look on the Cpan for the Apache::Session module? It may be what your looking for.

Update: I notice your previous node 'Shared memory' that this advice was already given. Are you having problems with implementing this? If so you should have posted a follow up node to your first question rather than ask again. Please read the PerlMonks FAQ if you have not already done so.

    Hope this helps.

    Martin
