I need to get this part out of a paragraph:

Alot of my info looks like this:
(3/3/2005)<br>* more words here. yes again<br>* okay Next data<br>* and here we go.
My attempt not working:
$myfind =~ //<br>//*/;

    $myfind =~ s/<br>\*//g;.

    The above replaces (s///) all occurences (g) of "<br>*" (* is special, so it must be escaped) with "" in $myfind.
