based on test.pl that i've launched there is an existing mod_perl/2.0.1... What do you think is the problem?

Do I need to do something more before I can launch my application? Thanks
You need to install the correct perl/apache modules,
and configure your apache properly.
Apache 1.x requires mod_perl-1.
Apache 2.x requires mod_perl-2.
http://perl.apache.org can help you with either version.

Yah, i've already installed the right module... i have an apache2.0.54 with mod_perl2.0.1... But still the problem occurs.

So you're halfway there.
Now just configure apache properly and you'll be done.
