I rather agree (that's what I chose after all), but I think it doesn't have sufficient visual impact. Guess if I get a huge response to this we could make it a user selected character. :)

Yes. The spades didn't provide enough visual impact so we changed to using "█" (`█`) which is a filled box, but being a unicode character may not be rendered by all browsers on all systems. If you are seeing the number in a box I'd guess your browser/system combination don't render it. :( There is a suggestion on the table that we allow a user selected character - that works around the problem. If there is a lot of support for the idea then I guess that will happen. DWIM is Perl's answer to Gödel	[reply] [d/l]

I'm using Firefox 1.0.7 on Slackware 10.2, fyi. I don't mind not seeing the character; I think the color scale paired with the color of the links still conveys the necessary information. -- jpg	[reply]
