in reply to The merlyn's earliest JAPH

I think this node should be in its own section, "Obfuscated English" :-)
Please don't try to be 133t, and use English;

Update: The cool-talk was removed.. much nicer :)

Cheers,
KM

Isn't it a little bit 'hard' for someone just trying to post a (IMHO great) link for newbies and anyone interested ?

Of course 'kewl' maybe too much for you.
But as a non native english speaker I sometimes (mis)use some words I caught elsewhere.
And yes I often do grammar and spelling errors too.
But please be cool with us !
Any Perl advice is always welcome
I'm even happy to be corrected for my english (I wonder how many errors you will point out ;-)
But please don't laught at us !

And as Perl teach us : There's more than one way to say it

Isn't it a little bit 'hard' for someone

I don't think I was hard. No matter what you native tongue is, the letter 'u' isn't 'you', the letter 'b' isn't 'be', kewl isn't a word, etc...
Grammer errors and spelling errors.. no biggie.. I do that too (a LOT), but butchering the English language with shortcuts, in my opinion, makes someone look like an idiot.

I'm even happy to be corrected for my english (I wonder how many errors you will point out ;-)

      English, not english :)

But please don't laught at us !

I don't laugh! I think it is great that many people try to learn English. I wish bi-lingualism was pushed more here in the US. But cool-talk isn't English and isn't cool :)

I see the node was modified... so all is well.

      Cheers,
      KM
