swampyankee has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Are there any modules or Perl-based utilities that convert [tng]roff formatted files to html, ps, etc?

If there aren't, does anybody think there's enough demand for such a tool for me to (try to) write one?

Thanks to all the respondents (derby and fletch as I write this).

Somehow I managed to miss both man2html and groff.

groff should be able to produce PS and HTML output.
