Excuse me if this code offends you in some way. This is one of my first obfuscated perl programs. For (and inspired by) some guy from one hackers' conference.

    IMO,
    There is way too much suppression of free speech in the world today, without us adding to it.

    We're a perl site, and it is definitely a perl program. It runs, and both the code and the output look similar - sort of like a visual, algorithmic onomatopoeia.

    I say it's worth having on this site. I'd go so far as to say it's cool. The consideration was voted on and went for keeping it. He even said in the post that he was hoping it wouldn't offend anyone. I'm going to re-approve.

      sorry for the delay - only just found this.
      all fair points well made. In my defense I wasn't trying to supress free speech, just keep the site clean(ish).
      i really didn't (and don't) care that much, however i would say that hoping something doesn't offend someone doesn't mean that it won't or makes it ok if you do.
