Well, I love Perl (I am refering to Perl 5).

I am one of those try-a-be programmer (it's different from wannabe because I actually tried hard), I tried to be a programmer by learning (or trying to learn) so many different languages (c,c++,objective,python, tcl, ... and the list goes on)

And this is why I thought a lot about what makes someone want to learn a language, and even more, what makes people who are less knowlegeable than me, be real-productive programmers, using in my opinion lesser tools or languages, like PHP comapred to Perl or Tcl (I am a huge Tcl fan) or MySql comapared to Postgresql.

And the answer is, they succeeded because unlike me, programming for them was not a goal, it was a mean to get to goal, which was, building the database or website or utility they wanted. For me, programming is for itself, a goal in itself.

So my question is,junctions or traits, excite the likes of me, but for those lesser beings, undereducated, real programmers, what would make them wonna learn or use Perl6?
